Oakville homeowners can still claim up to $1,250 on an attic upgrade. Enbridge Gas announced on October 27, 2026 that the Oakville attic insulation rebate, available through Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings Program, has been extended to March 31, 2027. The previous deadline was November 30, 2026.
How the Rebate Works
The standalone attic stream covers half of your insulation cost after tax, up to $1,250 for a standard attic. Flat roofs and cathedral ceilings qualify for up to $750. There’s no energy assessment, so you can go straight to a contractor quote.
Comfort for Every Oakville Neighbourhood
Older homes in Old Oakville and Bronte can lose heat through attics that were insulated decades ago. Even newer homes in Glen Abbey may have insulation that has settled over time.
Do You Qualify?
To be eligible, your existing insulation must be below the program’s R-value thresholds and the upgrade must reach at least R-50. A participating contractor must complete the work, and homes that already received an attic rebate from Enbridge, Save on Energy or another Ontario program can’t claim it again.
